The guard fits snugly into the bottom of the available bucket. Without Grit Guard™ small particles of dirt, grit and debris caught in your sponge or wash mitt may be rubbed across the surface of the paint causing swirl marks ... or worse !!

Every time you dip your sponge or wash mitt into the bucket rub it against the Grit Guard. This helps to remove any particles which simply drop to the bottom of the bucket, rather than being rubbed across your paintwork.
